Job Club
Since 70-80% of people looking for jobs will find them through networking, we host a Job Club at the Community Career Center every Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Joy Maguire-Dooley of the Lisle Township facilitates this networking group. It is an excellent opportunity to make contacts, talk with others about the job search process, and get job leads. During the last half hour of each session, a speaker addresses various job search or employment issues. You do not have to register, just bring copies of your résumé and show up!
Job Leads
The Community Career Center receives a myriad of job leads daily. Area employers send us their current openings. These job leads are posted in binders for the interest of job seekers. These positions vary from entry level up to senior level, in a multitude of industries. You can also listen to WONC, 89.1 FM at 6:30 a.m. and 7:30 a.m. Monday through Friday to hear more job leads.
